The staff is very friendly, the food is incredibly delicious.
It's outside the hustle and bustle of the pedestrian streets and seaside restaurants that tourists love, and what was important to us is that it's a pizzeria that the locals love. There were no tourists apart from us :)
Stayed in the local area so was accessible with good food. We don't speak Italian but the hostess tried her best to accommodate us.
Wine was unavailable so had to have "prosecco" which was overpriced.
One of the best pizzas - thin base, great toppings. Enjoy with the draft unfiltered Ichnusa - a treat. Be aware at time of writing they only take cash - no cards
The pizzas were great, especially the crust was one of the best i have had!! The staff friendly and serviceminded. Unfortunately the room was destroyed by bad lightning as you are on s train station. The acoustic in the room is awfull and the worst i have been in for years! To bad as the pizzas are fantastic.
Decent place to eat, especially if you happen to be accommodated in that area. It’s located just outside of the train station underground passage. The wine is fine, pizza is tasty, but the staff seem to always be in a rush. Felt it was a pizzeria dedicated to the locals, not tourists.
One evening my friends and I thought it would be nice to go to the restaurant and eat a pizza, so we went to Dodo because they also make gluten free pizzas and I'm celiac.
I had already been there with my uncle and the pizza was great.
When I went there again with my friends I heard a man, who I later found out is the cook, talking about how contamination between "normal" food and gluten free food is not important. I stopped eating when he went on saying that touching gluten free food with his hands dirty of flour wasn't a big deal.
My friends and I decided to talk about it with the manager. He obviously said that they're very thorough and that contamination wasn't possible. The cook I had heard talking before then said he himself cooks the gluten free pizzas!
The pizzas were still great, but celiac disease is not a joke!
Good pizza, lively atmosphere in the evening. Reasonable prices. clean facilities. Bit of a trek from the center of town but worth it for a nice change.
Both pizza and kitchen menu are of a great quality. We had some delay in service, but it was totally compensated by the quality of food we ate there.
